The Om-Adapt Series is a unique range of Surface Mount Prototyping Adapters.

Recognizing the wide diversity of SMD package sizes and shapes, and the limitation created by simply having a different adapter for each and every SMD package, Omega Research have addressed the problem and come up with a small range of hugely versatile breadboarding adapters.

Using creative layout techniques, Omega Research have managed to produce IC adapters, each of which can suit an array of package sizes, without sacrificing either footprint precision or electrical performance. Adapter in use

Just a handful of different types is now all that is required to suit most of the SMD footprints used in the latest chips.

Added to this the very low cost, it is now possible to hold these adapters as Lab Stock, ready for immediate use, right when your next chip samples arrive on your desk.

The one-to-one tracking also allows ease of circuit probing during testing.
